Next Meeting

Setup & support

Connect your calendars

  1. Install the plugin in Stream Deck, then add Next Meeting to a key or Next Meeting · Infobar to the Neo Infobar.
  2. Select the action and choose Add account. Finish Google sign-in in your browser and allow both read-only Calendar permissions.
  3. Expand an account’s calendar list to choose what to include. Repeat for additional Google accounts.

Use your key

The countdown shows the next timed meeting in the next seven days. NOW means a meeting is in progress. Press the key to open its Google Meet link; events without a Meet link open in Google Calendar. The Infobar opens the calendar event. Under Key appearance, choose colors and show or hide the title. Appearance is saved separately for each key.

Google blocks sign-in

During the release candidate’s Google testing phase, only developer-approved test accounts can connect. Cancel sign-in in Stream Deck and contact support if you need access. Testing authorizations may require reconnection after seven days. A work account can also be restricted by its organization’s administrator.

Sign-in expires or the service is unavailable

Return to Stream Deck and start a new sign-in. Sessions expire after five minutes; cancelled sessions cannot be resumed. If the sign-in service is unavailable, wait briefly and retry. Advanced custom Desktop clients use a local callback: if localhost refuses to connect, close that tab and start again. Do not reuse old callback URLs.

No meeting appears

Check that at least one calendar is selected and refresh. All-day, declined, cancelled, free, focus-time and working-location events are excluded. Ongoing meetings remain visible until they end. Partial sync indicates one account or calendar failed; its cached events are discarded after fifteen minutes of failed syncs.

Keychain access

If macOS asks to allow the Stream Deck Node runtime to use the plugin’s Keychain item, review and approve the prompt yourself. Account tokens are stored in your Mac’s Keychain. The private sign-in service handles them transiently during sign-in and refresh. If access is denied, allow access in Keychain Access and restart Stream Deck.

Contact

Email hello@sunday.engineering with your macOS and Stream Deck versions and a short description of the issue. Redact private calendar details from screenshots. Never send tokens, passwords, OAuth JSON, or a sign-in callback URL.
